Notice is hereby given that a public meeting will be held on August 11, 2026, immediately after the Local Board of Canvass at the Town of Orion Town Hall at 22304 Thiede Rd, Muscoda, WI. 53573.

Upon attaining a quorum of members, all items listed on the agenda shown below may be considered (acted upon). The Municipal Board of Canvassers (MBOC) consists of the municipal clerk and two other qualified electors of the municipality appointed by the municipal clerk. Wis. Stat. § 7.53(2).
In the Town of Orion, we choose an affiliated pair to represent our qualified electors. The MBOC meets after every local election. If there are no municipal offices or referenda on the ballot, the MBOC may meet to review provisional ballots (if any) for non-local election results.
For local contests, the MBOC completes the canvass statement, certifies the municipal election results, and officially determines the winners. their own board of canvassers to certify results.
Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Town of Orion will generally, upon request, provide appropriate aids and services leading to effective communication for qualified persons with disabilities so they can participate equally in the Town of Orion’s programs, services, and activities, including qualified sign language interpreters, documents in Braille, and other ways of making information and communications accessible to people who have speech, hearing, or vision impairments
Note: It is possible that members of and possibly a quorum of members of other governmental bodies of the municipality may be in attendance at the above stated meeting to gather information; no action will be taken by any governmental body at the above stated meeting other than the governmental body specifically referred to in this notice
